Launch of the Handbook for Addressing Gendered Disinformation and Digital Gender-Based Violence at Netavile

A big thank-you to everyone who joined the launch of our new Handbook for Addressing Gendered Disinformation and Digital Gender-Based Violence!

On 14 May, we opened an important discussion about challenges increasingly present in the digital space—gendered disinformation, fake news, digital gender-based violence, the manosphere, and incel ideology.

The handbook is a practical and theoretical tool that offers:

Tips for recognizing online risks and disinformation

Steps for protection, support, and identifying violence

Clear procedures for reporting digital gender-based violence

Thank you for contributing to an open discussion and our shared fight for gender equality and human rights.

The handbook is available in Macedonian and Albanian—see the links in the comments.

The launch took place within the regional project “Defend the right to be yourself,” supported by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
