Teodora Mileska

Teodora Mileska is an feminist educator and advocate, who is working to promote gender equality and menstrual justice. She is the co-founder of PERIOD Skopje and part of the team at Stella Network, working at the intersection of education, gender equality, and health.

Through PERIOD Skopje, she is mainstreaming menstrual health in youth programs, schools, and public discourse by redefining menstrual poverty as a public health and education issue.
Her activism encourages policy change, mobilises youth, and advocates for all students to have free access to menstruation products. PERIOD Skopje’s work has also contributed to reducing the tax on menstrual products in North Macedonia, earning two national nominations for Best Initiative for Meaningful Youth Engagement in 2023 and 2025.

At Stella, Teodora empowers girls and young women through a national mentoring initiative, fostering leadership and equality in schools across North Macedonia. With over seven years of experience in youth work, peer education and training, she continues to advocate for gender equality, health and wellbeing locally and globally.
