Vigjilenca Abazi is a Lecturer in Law at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London.
She is the co-founder and director of the European Whistleblowing Institute. She is licensed to practice law in New York. Her academic contributions and civic leadership have received wide recognition, including through the Obama Foundation’s Leaders Europe program (2024) and the Early Career Award from the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (2020). “The experiences and guidance of others opened new horizons for me and gave me the courage to follow my own path. I was fortunate to have mentors who supported and inspired me, and therefore I see it as both a duty and a privilege to share my knowledge and experience with others. For me, mentorship is empowerment.”
