Era Gjakova is a lawyer and holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Law, with a particular focus on sexual crimes and victim protection.
She is currently pursuing doctoral studies in this field, with the aim of contributing to the improvement of legislation and the protection of victims of sexual violence in North Macedonia. She has experience as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Law and is the author of several academic papers. Alongside her academic engagements, she has been working for the past four years as a journalist and news anchor at TV Alsat.
